"Complex Plan": Manage multiple memberships even more easily

A new coapp feature makes membership management for communities even easier. Until now, community managers have been able to create and manage memberships and tariffs. This gave members access to community and paid resources and services. A new member could select a membership when registering, add upgrades such as mail reception or a locker and use rooms for meetings or tools such as 3D printers or other community facilities.

Our introduction of "Complex Plan" opens up even more design options for managers and members - with maximum flexibility. Memberships and tariffs can be individualized even more, so that the different payment plans can be adapted to the needs of the community members. In short, simplified administration with greater efficiency. What's not to like?

Incidentally, such improvements and new features - such as "Complex Plan" - are often the result of user experiences and requirements. A large part of our developments are based on feedback from users and admins, who give us valuable insights and help us to continuously improve coapp. Thank you very much for that! 💜

What can "Complex Plan" do?

Pay for other users

This feature is particularly valuable for companies, teams and startups that require centralized billing via a company account. Now team members can pay for memberships and resources for their colleagues, making administration much easier. A parent account can take over payment for other child accounts. It has its own payment plan and extras, as does each sub-account. The different plans and extras are combined on the invoice under the same credit balance. This allows account managers with a complex payment plan to access combined balances.

Cash credits

In addition to the familiar Time Credits, there are now also Cash Credits for resources. This is particularly beneficial for groups that use resources with different prices, such as meeting rooms. Cash Credits provide these groups with a budget that is applied to each booking according to the hourly rate.

Manual entry of the invoice date

When the administrator assigns a plan to a user, they can select an anchor date from which the first invoice is issued, regardless of the actual start of the subscription. There is also the option of individual pro rata billing between this anchor date and a selected day. The effect? An even more precise invoice design, more transparency in invoicing and freedom in budget planning.

Invoice preview during creation

Community managers receive a preview to see what sums will appear on the next invoice of a member or team. This helps directly when creating or redesigning memberships and avoiding errors.

When the billing cycle is reset, the billing date is set to the current time. The invoice preview therefore shows what will be invoiced next and when.

Predefined end date

subscriptions can now also be created with a predefined end date. This way, it is automatically canceled on a specific date. And if you change your mind, you can also cancel this specification and continue your membership for any period of time.

Retroactive memberships (soon)

Memberships can soon also be created retrospectively, which makes administration more flexible and makes it easier for new members to join.

Full freedom. 💪

"Complex Plan" aims to offer new benefits to community managers and members alike. From improved budget control and more transparent billing to more flexible payment options, coapp is once again setting new standards in the field of membership management for communities.
